Baseball Recap: Platteview Has No Trouble Against Platte Valley

Platteview never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Platte Valley on Tuesday. They blew past Platte Valley 11-3. Considering the Trojans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Tucker Riha made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. Riha was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
