Softball Recap: Greenway Has No Trouble Against Dysart

Greenway came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Dysart 20-1 on Monday. Considering Greenway has won 13 games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordyn Schad was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI.

In other batting news, Greenway got a massive performance out of Madison Bailey, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Bailey has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Chandler, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Greenway was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .625. They are 14-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Greenway's win bumped their record up to 16-9-1. As for Dysart, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Greenway nor Dysart have any future games scheduled.
