Rylan Cooney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 161 yards and a touchdown. Cooney's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Holy Family also got a significant boost from Dominic Gabriel, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.
Fort Morgan's win on Saturday bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Holy Family, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-1.
Fort Morgan might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from Holy Family in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Fort Morgan, Chase Mcnaughton (who rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also caught a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
