Florala is 6-1 against Geneva since November of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Florala Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Geneva Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Florala focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Florala beat Straughn 46-42. The victory was just what Florala needed coming off of a 78-53 defeat in their prior contest.
Elijah McMeans continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Dalton Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Geneva pushed their score all the way to 57 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-57 to Carroll.
The losses dropped Florala to 3-2 and Straughn to 0-2.
