Carvers Bay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenneth Bateman, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. Bateman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylon Gause, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Carvers Bay has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Lake View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Carvers Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Goose Creek at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake View, they will head out on the road to face off against South Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
