West Craven is 3-0 against North Pitt since October of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Craven Eagles will be playing at home against the North Pitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in West Craven's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while North Pitt has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought match, but West Craven had to settle for a 31-28 defeat against SouthWest Edgecombe.
The losing side was boosted by Malik Brown, who rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns. DJ Davis also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Meanwhile, North Pitt lost to Farmville Central on the road by a decisive 46-30 margin on Friday.
The losing side was boosted by Kamien Little-Burgess, who picked up 290 receiving yards. Little-Burgess' longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Famous Wilson, who threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns.
The losses dropped West Craven to 7-3 and North Pitt to 5-5.
