When it comes to explaining why Madison-Grant lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maddy Moore. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with five steals. Moore hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Madalee Holloway was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Northfield pushed their record up to 8-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Madison-Grant, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.
