Hillcrest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Damani Wilkerson led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Tanner, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Kearns lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ivan Kaufusi. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kaufusi has scored all season. Anywan Kuang was another key contributor, scoring six points.
