The Chadwick Cardinals will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Parkview Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Chadwick's defense has only allowed 23.8 points per game this season, so Parkview's offense will have their work cut out for Parkview.
Last Monday, Chadwick beat Blue Eye 32-19. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Chadwick has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Parkview, who are still winless after their ninth match. They were dealt a 74-25 defeat at the hands of Greenwood on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Parkview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 472nd in Missouri, while Greenwood is ranked fifth in Arkansas).
The losing side was boosted by Brooklynn Masten, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Chadwick's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.8 points. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
