North Ridgeville and Berea-Midpark are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Rangers will face off against the Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. North Ridgeville will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
North Ridgeville barely beat Bay the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Rockets on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Daniel Lowe made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three games. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other pitching news, Ben Chinchar looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Gannon Padgett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Enmanuel Ramos, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Meanwhile, Berea-Midpark entered their contest against St. Edward on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Titans took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.
North Ridgeville's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Berea-Midpark, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
North Ridgeville came up short against Berea-Midpark in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 11-6. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
