Having just played yesterday, the Geneva Classical Academy Knights will get right back to it and host the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Geneva Classical Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
On Thursday, Geneva Classical Academy beat the Lions 41-28. The team accrued 29 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
It was another big night for Giselle Katzmann, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals. Katzmann is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Dalen, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, Foundation Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 39-38 to the Scorpions.
Geneva Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
