 Pine Creek was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .357 or higher in four consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Liberty came up short against  Rampart on Saturday, falling  17-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Lancers have suffered  against the Rams since May 27, 2021.
 The  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 8-2. As for Liberty, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record  this season.
