Horizon's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They didn't even let Canyon View onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Horizon also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Kaden Cox and
Will Mobley, who scored.
Horizon now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Canyon View, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon on the road again on Tuesday and play against Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Cactus Shadows is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Canyon View, they will head out on the road to face off against Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
