Garrett extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Carter Coffman. The Garrett Railroaders pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over the Angola Hornets on Tuesday thanks in part to Coffman, who went 9 of 17 en route to 27 points and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

Isaiah King was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played.

Angola's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cru Weber, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 12 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Ryan Stuckey, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Garrett is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Angola, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Garrett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-49 win against West Noble on the 15th. As for Angola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-49 victory against Prairie Heights on the 16th.
