There's no place like home for Palacios, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Danbury Panthers 55-0. This was payback for the Sharks, who suffered a 30-8 loss the last time these two teams met.
Palacios got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Martinez out in front who rushed for 190 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries. Martinez's longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Alex Weaver also helped out as he racked up 122 rushing yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Palacios was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 440 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
