The Browne Bruins's three-game losing streak  came to an end  on Thursday. They blew past San Luis 63-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win Browne has posted  since December 5, 2023.
 Browne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Adam Chaffin led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds.  Emiliano Esquer was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Browne's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for San Luis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Browne will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Carl Hayden Community at 7:00  p.m.  on January 26th. Carl Hayden Community presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Browne in Arizona (Carl Hayden Community is ranked 96th, while Browne is ranked 241st). As for San Luis, they will head out on the road to  take on  Maryvale at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Maryvale will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
