Valley put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bunker Eagles a 15-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valley's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average this season. As for Bunker, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Valley is taking a road trip to face off against West County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 0.8, the Bulldogs 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bunker, they will host Bismarck at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
