The Norwalk Truckers will be home for the holidays to greet the Clyde Fliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Norwalk was able to grind out a solid victory over Olmsted Falls, taking the game 50-43.
Clyde can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 63-53 victory over Vermilion.
Brayden Olson was a one-man wrecking crew for Clyde as he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Olson has scored at least 25% of Clyde's points. Another player making a difference was Cedric Messer, who scored 13 points.
Norwalk now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clyde, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
Norwalk was able to grind out a solid win over Clyde in their previous matchup back in January, winning 76-64. Does Norwalk have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clyde turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
