The Show Low Cougars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Chino Valley. That's another feather in the cap for Show Low, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Preston Power, who scored 19 points. Cameron Wallentine was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Show Low has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Chino Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Show Low will head out on the road to face off against Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Coolidge's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Chino Valley, they will be playing at home against River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
