The Lamar Silver Foxes are on the road again on Friday and play against the East Clarendon Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Lamar comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Tuesday, Lamar was beaten by Lee Central 90-12.
Meanwhile, East Clarendon entered their tilt with Green Sea Floyds with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. East Clarendon simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Green Sea Floyds 56-25 at home.
East Clarendon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayden White, who scored 24 points. The matchup was White's third in a row with at least ten points. Jasmyne Lloyd was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Indian Land's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Lamar's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.
Lamar came up short against East Clarendon when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 44-39. Can Lamar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
