The St. Cloud Bulldogs will face off against the Gateway Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
St. Cloud took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Lake Nona by a score of 25-17.
St. Cloud found their leader in sophomore Jeremiah Lattier, who threw for 317 yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one rushing score.

St. Cloud didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Milton Caraballo, Bryce Anthony Oraine Williams, and Jeramiah Barnes picked up one apiece. Caraballo also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. Another thorn in Lake Nona's side was Dashawn Reese, who picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Special teams was a major factor in the game for St. Cloud, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Zeus Howard, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while Gateway put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Liberty. The Panthers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 20-0 victory.
The critical scores for Gateway came from Dory Thimote, Nydrell Thigpen, and Aristotle Span Jr.
Gateway's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for St. Cloud, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: St. Cloud has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 274 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Gateway, though, as they've been averaging only 44 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
St. Cloud strolled past Gateway in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 20-6. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
