The Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Minisink Valley out 14-12. The victory was just what Our Lady of Lourdes needed coming off of a 50-22 loss in their prior matchup.
Despite the loss, Minisink Valley still got an impressive performance from Joshua Thibodeau, who rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
Our Lady of Lourdes' win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Minisink Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Our Lady of Lourdes will square off against Cornwall Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cornwall Central will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Minisink Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
