 Marx wasn't the only one working in the  aces department: Franklin  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 31  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since  back in October of 2023.
 Several Lightning players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Chloe North, who  had ten  digs. North is  crushing it when it comes to  digs: she's   had at least four every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Moua, who  had four  digs.
 Franklin has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season. As for Appleton North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Franklin is on the road again  on Friday to play Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:30  p.m. As for Appleton North, they will square off against Slinger at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Slinger will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Appleton North surely won't give up without a fight.
