Fans got a thrill when Isaiah Collins and Eric Smith connected against Perry. The longest such play in Genesee Area - Red this season, the connection resulted in 85 yards.
Johnson's Collins recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Ramblers last week. Collins scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 204 on the day as his team defeated Perry.
Johnson's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tony Saldona has thrown for 478 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Collins has 16 catches for 258 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Johnson takes on Hill-McCloy. Benjamin almasy's team's offense has racked up 150 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Rams have allowed only 33 on the year.
An important game coming up in Genesee Area - Red this week will be when Hill-McCloy takes on the Panthers. As it stands, Dennnis Reinhart's team is in first, while Johnson is in fourth.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Rams beat Muskegon Heights 58-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for Hill-McCloy.
