Colorado School for the Deaf Blind is 0-4 against Manzanola since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Colorado School for the Deaf Blind Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Manzanola Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.
Colorado School for the Deaf Blind's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 51-14 loss at the hands of Phoenix Day School for the Deaf.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Manzanola, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were outmatched by Kim/Branson at home and fell 55-18. Manzanola was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.
Despite the loss, Manzanola got a solid performance out of Canye Trujillo, who scored ten points along with four blocks. That was a full 55.6% of Manzanola's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Manzanola struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Kim/Branson posted ten assists.
Colorado School for the Deaf Blind bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Manzanola, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Colorado School for the Deaf Blind took a serious blow against Manzanola when the teams last played back in January of 2018, falling 73-40. Can Colorado School for the Deaf Blind avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
