That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Twin Peaks Classical Academy's points. Mikah Sickau was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Loveland Classical entered their tilt with Golden View Classical Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 46-35 win over the Sentinels. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy better keep an eye on Kaelyn Doan. She was instrumental in Loveland Classical's win, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 13 steals. The dominant performance gave Doan a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Saxton, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 13 points and four steals.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy's record is now 11-8. As for Loveland Classical, their record is now 12-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Twin Peaks Classical Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26 boards per game. However, it's not like Loveland Classical struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
