St. Pauls found their leader in underclassman Tyson Thompson, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Thompson has scored at least 25% of St. Pauls' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakhi Purcell, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Fayetteville Christian had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against O'Neal by a score of 50-40 on Tuesday.
Cristian Sias continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Fayetteville Christian's points. Chris Wooten was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
The victory got St. Pauls back to even at 2-2. As for Fayetteville Christian, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4.
