The Glenn Grizzlies''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. The game between Glenn and A&M Consolidated wasn't particularly close, with Glenn falling 38-20. While losing is never fun, Glenn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while A&M Consolidated is ranked 144th).
Will Hargett was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 303 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.2 yards per attempt. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellis Myers, who picked up 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for A&M Consolidated, their win was their fourth straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. A&M Consolidated will be playing at home against Wagner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
