This season hasn't been kind to the Carroll Academy Jaguars, who are still winless after their tenth match. They were dealt a 52-14 loss at the hands of Fayette Academy on Wednesday. Carroll Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayette Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hannah Logan, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Craig, who scored four points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Carroll Academy dropped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fayette Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Carroll Academy will head out on the road to take on the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Fayette Academy, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Trinity Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
