After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwick Regional, East Longmeadow was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chicopee Pacers 3-2. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Pacers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
East Longmeadow took Chicopee into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-12, 25-19, 18-25, 15-13.
