Calhoun came out on top against Portledge on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Cougars took their match against the Panthers 8-5. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Julian Glasgow made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Calhoun is undefeated when Glasgow posts two or more runs, but 1-2-1 otherwise.
