The Charles J. Colgan Sharks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Woodbridge by a score of 65-53. That's another feather in the cap for Charles J. Colgan, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Charles J. Colgan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brianna Long out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Long has scored at least 25% of Charles J. Colgan's points. Audrey Williams was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds.
Charles J. Colgan's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Woodbridge, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charles J. Colgan will be home for the holidays to greet Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Park comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Woodbridge, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
