It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Battle Ground Academy at home to the tune of 41-13. The win was familiar territory for Lausanne Collegiate who now have eight in a row.
Tyler Wilson was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Marterius Boyd, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Although Battle Ground Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Arnett Hayes and Kaedyn Marable.
Lausanne Collegiate's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.6 points per game. As for Battle Ground Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Lausanne Collegiate's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Davidson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Davidson Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Battle Ground Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
