On Tuesday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the field. The Hernando Tigers walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Northwest Rankin Cougars. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Madeline Sowell looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
