Brady Collver and Bryce Peterson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Sherman. The connection was good for 89 yards, the longest such play in Section 6 DD this season.
Frewsburg moved up to 234 from 296 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bears climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Wildcats 20-14.
Peterson was the best receiver in the league this week as Frewsburg beat Sherman. Peterson tallied 3 receptions for 118 yards. Josh Nelson helped Frewsburg's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 65 yards.
Leading Section 6 DD in both passing and receiving yards, Terry Gray's team's Collver and Peterson have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Collver has thrown for 984 yards this season, while Peterson has 17 catches for 365 yards. Kyle Saxton from Panama leads the league in rushing with 792 yards.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Panthers, 14-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Timberwolves.
