Spencer were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Le Mars 41-6. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Spencer, who can brag about three blowout wins.
The Spencer offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 41 points. Le Mars countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 41-6 going into the half. The Spencer defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Spencer will take on Bishop Heelan Catholic at home at 7:00 PM next week. Those two teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games. As for Le Mars, they will face off against Denison-Schleswig. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
