 In what's become a running theme this season, Wolfe County gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Owsley County with a sharp  15-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Wolfe County.
  Sami Noble made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Noble has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Noble was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 In other batting news,  Kenzie Miller and  Riley Bush did most of the damage at the plate:  Miller  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances, while  Bush  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.  Raygen Holbrook was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Johnson Central fell victim to Boyd County and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They took  a  4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 16  runs in the game before, Johnson Central's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
  Mayson Delong made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-2 with a  stolen base and a  double.
 Wolfe County's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Johnson Central, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.
 Wolfe County beat Johnson Central 3-0  when the teams last played  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolfe County since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
