It was another big night for Nate Tadiello, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 35 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Nate Sagendorph was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards.
North was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Riverside waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They breezed by the Bombers to the tune of 73-43. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Beavers had established a 29 point advantage.
Riverside's win came from a few key players North will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyle Harden, who posted 14 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Brown, who scored 11 points and five assists.
Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: North has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Riverside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
North strolled past Riverside when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 78-59. Will North repeat their success, or does Riverside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
