Milaca's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coleton Kiel, who scored five points. Another player making a difference was Landon Hasz, who scored six points.
Pequot Lakes' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.8 points.
