It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-33, which was the final score in Lindale's's tilt against Tyler HEAT on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lindale has scored all season.
Tyler HEAT got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was John Hall out in front who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Elijah Grimes was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Lindale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
Lindale will play host again and welcome Van, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Van is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Tyler HEAT, they will head out on the road to face off against King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully King's Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Thursday.
