The Pettus Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between Pettus and Odem wasn't particularly close, with Pettus falling 57-40.
Pettus lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nathan Orr, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Desmond Montoya, who scored ten points.
Pettus bumped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Odem, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
