The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hutto in their matchups with Stony Point: they've now lost six in a row.
Stony Point can attribute much of their success to Leann Bellow, who scored 19 points along with 7 steals and 3 blocks. Bellow has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Shyla Hancock was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Hutto has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Stony Point, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
