The Ridgeline Riverhawks waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They really took it to Fremont for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-31 victory at home. Considering Ridgeline has won seven contests by more than 25 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Ridgeline to victory were Elise Livingston and Emilee Skinner. Livingston scored 24 points along with three steals, while Skinner scored 20 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Skinner has scored at least 25% of Ridgeline's points. Hallee Smith was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Several Silverwolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avary Post, who scored six points.
Fremont struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Ridgeline pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.25 points. As for Fremont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Ridgeline will be playing at home against Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corner Canyon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 340 points over their last five matches. As for Fremont, they will head out on the road to face off against Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Copper Hills is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
