Kyle Cox's Big Game Leads Sandhills/Thedford over Maxwell
Sandhills/Thedford picked up their 18th consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Kyle Cox. Cox was unstoppable, rushing for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 132 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 22nd straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.

While Mullen might've come up empty on Thursday, Tate Kvanvig wasn't going down without a fight. Kvanvig was unstoppable, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making nine total tackles (1.0 for loss).
On the season, Kvanvig has run in 19 touchdowns while averaging 86.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Sandhills/Thedford Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Carson Cooksley
Carson Cooksley was instrumental in extending Sandhills/Thedford's winning streak to 18 on Thursday. Nobody could stop Cooksley as he picked up 43 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
