Softball Recap: Easley Comes Up Short

Easley dropped their record down to 8-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-1 to the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets. The Green Wave were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellow Jackets from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Camora Little made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

As for T.L. Hanna, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games.

On T.L. Hanna's side, Hanna Davis 2028 and Kendall Coakley 2029 did most of the damage at the plate: Davis 2028 went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Coakley 2029 went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Davis 2028 has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Loftis 2027, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

Looking ahead, Easley will be playing at home against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Green Wave surely won't give up without a fight. As for T.L. Hanna, they will square off against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
