Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thompson Valley Eagles.  Northridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-10, 25-22,  25-9.
 Sophia Carbajal paced Northridge's offense, picking up 12 kills. Carbajal got some help from  Dalanie Jones and her 25 assists. Jones was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
 Thompson Valley found their leader in sophomore  Brier Jensen, who  hit 83.3% for five  kills and eight  digs and two  aces. Jensen is  crushing it when it comes to  kills: she's   had at least five every time she's  taken the court this season.
Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Thompson Valley, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
 Northridge has already played their next contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Timnath on the 14th. As for Thompson Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Greeley Central on the 14th.
