The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Hewitt-Trussville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Wetumpka on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Stanhope Elmore's last match on Saturday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and American Christian Academy finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Stanhope Elmore's first draw of the season.
Everything went Hewitt-Trussville's way against Stanhope Elmore when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Hewitt-Trussville made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hewitt-Trussville since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
