The Klein Forest Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. 2024 welcomed they with a 72-51 loss courtesy of Tomball. Klein Forest was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.
Tomball got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Theresa Gaetz out in front who scored ten points along with five steals. Danielle Oyakhire was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Klein Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Tomball, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with that win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Klein Forest will square off against Klein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tomball, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Klein Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Collins is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
