The Marion County Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Phil Campbell Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Marion County will be strutting in after a victory while Phil Campbell will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Marion County strolled past Brilliant with points to spare, taking the game 50-34.
Meanwhile, Phil Campbell fought the good fight in their overtime match against Dora on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 60-53 to the Bulldogs.
Marion County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Phil Campbell, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Marion County was able to grind out a solid win over Phil Campbell in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, winning 51-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marion County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
