Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverview). They strolled past the Huron Chiefs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-58. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 56-54 victory the Chiefs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Riverview has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Huron, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Riverview will head out to square off against Melvindale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Melvindale will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Riverview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Huron, they will host St. Mary Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary Catholic Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Huron likes a good challenge.
